Locations are Central and North Brisbane as well as Toowoomba. We limit the number of consultations per day to ensure you have the time to provide quality foot care, education, and assessments to your patients and build long-lasting relationships.
In the role, you will provide high-quality podiatric care to residents across a range of aged care facilities, corporate health hubs, and clients' homes with regular treatments, building relationships to maximize foot care and overall enhance their health and wellbeing.
Responsibilities may include: Assessing, diagnosing, treating, and evaluating abnormalities and diseases related to the foot and lower limbDiabetic foot health assessmentsContributing towards the patient's chronic disease management planOffering footwear and foot care advice and education to patients, family members, staff, and carersMaking referrals to other healthcare professionals as appropriateBiomechanical assessmentsMaintaining quality documentation and treatment planning proceduresUndertaking a range of administrative tasks such as ensuring your stock levels are maintained, and that equipment is kept in good working order, daily reports, and handovers to all staff.About You We are looking for clinicians who share our vision to shift the way healthcare is provided in Australia.
As an experienced or new graduate clinician, you love to make a difference in the lives of Australians by working with them to improve their foot function and mobility.
This role suits a qualified, fully AHPRA-registered Podiatrist.
Ideally (but not essential), you will have a minimum of 1-year experience in a community or Aged Care setting.
As a mobile Podiatrist, you will need to be comfortable traveling to our clients located as mentioned above and as such provide your own vehicle.
