We require casual Cleaners to join our Environmental Services team to provide an efficient and effective cleaning service in accordance with Seymour Health Cleaning Standards, Infection Control procedures and Department of Health cleaning principles.It is important that you have the flexibility to cover offered shifts - Monday to Sunday across morning, afternoon or nights, including public holidays as required.Duties and responsibilities:Provide an efficient and effective delivery of cleaning servicesPerform cleaning duties as per position duties schedule and responsibilities in accordance with cleaning practices and standards to ensure infection control and quality standards are metWear Personal Protective Equipment to comply with WH&S legislation and maintain strict adherence to Safe Work PracticesComply with Manual Handling guidelinesUse cleaning products and chemicals in accordance with Material Safety Data specifications, attend training and implement updates in accordance with policies and guidelines for cleaning proceduresMonitor stock levels and provide ordering requirements for cleaning products, linen and requirements for the facilityProvide internal waste removal, including emptying waste bins and linen skips (including contaminated waste/soiled linen)About you:Contribute effectively to a team environment and independently as requiredAble to complete the physical tasks associated with the roleKnowledge of WHS and manual handling requirementsGood written and verbal communication skillsFlexibility to cover leave as requiredClosing Date:Applications must be submitted by11:59pm 29th October 2024All employment with Seymour Health (SH) is subject to and conditional upon a satisfactory Police Check and Victorian 'Employee' Working with Children's Check.All employees of SH must comply with the health service's Vaccination requirements procedure (as amended from time to time) together with any relevant State Government and Department directives.
