Join Osan Ability Assist as a Computer Network and Systems Engineer and play a key role in planning, developing, testing, and optimizing the IT network and systems function for safe, secure, and accurate information capture and transfer in real-time. Key tasks include:Determining Osan's needs in a network and computer system to ensure it is fit for purpose;Designing, configuring, and testing network and computer system software, hardware, and operating systems;Installing all network and computer system hardware and software and making required upgrades and repairs;Maintaining and administering the network and computer system, including systems software, hardware, and configurations;Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures, including performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required;Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applications;Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other network and computer system problems;Maintaining high levels of access, availability, reliability, and stability of networked systems and infrastructure;Monitoring the network and computer system and collecting data to evaluate its performance, making adjustments to help make the system work better and faster;Conferring with network and computer system users about solving existing system problems;Coordinating network and computer system access and use, including adding and removing users and assigning and updating security permissions;Replacing faulty network and computer system hardware components when required.Key Requirements:Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science/Information Technology;At least 3 years of experience as a Computer Network & Systems Engineer;At least one year of experience supporting similar networks in the NDIS industry;At least one year of Australian experience as a Computer Network & Systems Engineer;Skills in C, PHP, HTML, Java, CSS, and network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and architectures, LAN, WAN, VPN;Network hardware familiarity with switches, routers, and other network devices.Annual salary: $75,000 to $90,000 Plus Superannuation.
