About the Role:
We are looking for a Occupational Therapist to take on a Rehab Consultant position with a national occupational rehabilitation provider on the Gold Coast!
As a Rehabilitation Consultant you will assess, plan, organise, and participate in rehabilitative programs to achieve positive return to work outcomes and build sound relationships with customers.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Managing a caseload of injured clients
* Developing workplace based rehabilitation programs to achieve positive return to work outcomes
* Conducting Initial and Worksite Assessments
* Conducting Home Assessments
* Providing Rehabilitation counselling
* Completing and maintaining necessary records.
* Evaluating clients' progress and preparing reports that detail progress.
* Testing and evaluating clients' physical and mental abilities and analyse medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals.
* Recommend changes in patients' work or living environments, consistent with their needs and capabilities.
* Liaise and work in consultation with referring agency staff, injured workers, employers, medical practitioners and allied health professionals.

About You:
* Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
* AHPRA registration
* Outstanding communication and networking skills
* Ability to self motivate and self manage workload
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Report writing skills
* Drivers license and vehicle
* Eligible to work permanently in Australia
