Grainger Legal is a progressive, experienced, evolving and compassionate firm. We are currently seeking a Graduate Lawyer to join our Personal Injury department.
The Responsibilities
1. Assist senior lawyers with the day-to-day operations of files/client management
2. Be the first point of contact for clients and answer clients’ enquiries
3. Work with mixed file load across workers' compensation, TAC, public liability and crime compensation matters
4. Prepare matters for conference and hearing including preparation of court documents, legal documents and general correspondence
5. Prepare briefs and documents such as claim forms, schedules of damages and liaise with Counsel
6. Correspond and liaise with medical practitioners and other experts
7. Coordinate medico-legal appointments, compulsory conferences and mediations
8. Administration tasks as required
9. Draft statements and other legal documents as required
