Full-time permanent Finance Officer role in a global business located on the Eastern Shore.

Due to their innovative nature and increased demand, they have a need for an experienced Finance Officer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Your new role
As the Finance Officer, your core duties will be providing support to the Finance Manager. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
Accounts Receivable and Payable
* Provide support to accounts receivable and payable functions including;
* Preparing outgoing invoices
* Debtor Management
* Processing incoming vendor invoices
* Bank reconciliations
* Payment proposals
General Ledger
* Assisting with calculating, preparing and processing journal entries to the general ledger.
* Ensuring accurate and timely records and reporting of operating results.
* Completing assigned general ledger reconciliations on a monthly basis.
* Assisting with calculations and reporting financial results (actual, forecast and budget).
* Providing financial analysis and interpretation of variances from budgets, forecasts and standards (for Salaries and Wages)
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate, you'll have demonstrated experience in a Finance Officer position or similar role, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and a proven track record of general administration gained by practical experience, ideally in the plumbing or trades sector. You'll also have the following;
* Outstanding attention to detail
* Proactive nature and a high level of initiative
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Excellent time management skills
* Be a team player
