Planned Resources are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a regional council within their People & Capability team for an initial 6-month temporary position, with the potential for a permanent opportunity. This role requires someone who can quickly build strong relationships, understand the day-to-day challenges faced by our line managers, and make an immediate impact.
You’ll be joining a well-established, dynamic team within a Gippsland-based organisation, supporting a diverse workforce. You’ll work closely with leaders at all levels, providing hands-on HR support, managing key projects, and playing a key role in initiatives like enterprise bargaining.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop trusted partnerships with leaders and stakeholders, providing expert HR and employee relations advice.
* Promote and support a positive organisational culture, ensuring compliance with policies, processes, and legislation.
* Deliver timely, practical solutions to employee and operational challenges, empowering managers to succeed.
Key Selection Criteria:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources or a related field, or significant experience in an HR business partnering or generalist role.
* Proven experience across various HR functions within a diverse organisation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant HR software.
* A commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
* Strong communication and influencing skills.
