Regularly test lawful interception and delivery systems, performing protocol analysis and network-level problem-solving.Provide level 2 and 3 support for TI connections, collection, product assurance systems, telecommunications data requests and CLOUD Act data.Contribute to the provision of technical telecommunications SME advice to internal and external stakeholders, including for the provision of policy and process development.Contribute to the development of TI standards and specifications within Australia.As a Technical Specialist in ASIO, you will: Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of strategic or interim lawful interception and telecommunications data capabilities.Provide technical expertise that informs the development of ASIO's TI and data request systems.Liaise with domestic and international: C/CSPs and DCPs.interception and data request agencies (mostly law enforcement and anticorruption agencies).commercial providers (communications equipment and software vendors).government and internal stakeholders. Regularly test lawful interception and delivery systems, performing protocol analysis and network-level problem-solving.Provide level 1 and 2 support for TI connections, collection, product assurance systems, telecommunications data requests and CLOUD Act data.Contribute to the provision of technical telecommunications SME advice to internal and external stakeholders, including for the provision of policy and process development.What you will bring Experience, background or understanding of one or more of the following: Demonstrated experience in telecommunications technologies.Demonstrated experience with carrier networks and/or interception and retained telecommunications data systems.Demonstrated system integration and project delivery experience.Experience in NiFi and cloud technologies.Understanding in any of the following: IP/IMS Networks (architecture, systems and related protocols).Contemporary mobile network architecture such as LTE and 5G.NFV/virtualisation/containerisation as applicable to telecommunications networks.Carrier-level VoIP implementations.Previous exposure to 3rd Generation Partnership Program (3GPP) and/or European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) specifications.
