As a Principal Warfare Officer Instructor (PWO-I), you will be integral to the training and development of current naval warfare skills. Reporting to the PWO Lead Instructor, your primary responsibilities include: As a Principal Warfare Officer Instructor, you’ll make a positive impact by: Developing and delivering advanced courses for Principal Warfare Officers, in line with current doctrine and documentation Delivering additional courses required within the Maritime Warfare Officers’ training continuum. Maintaining up-to-date expertise in Royal Australian Navy warfare policies, procedures, and tactics to ensure the highest standards of training Assisting in the development and updating of course materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness for future training requirements. Serco is a place for you To be successful in this role, you will: Be able to achieve and maintain a defence security clearance of NV1 or higher A Principal Warfare Officer qualification from within the Royal Australian Navy, Royal Navy, Royal New Zealand Navy, or Royal Canadian Navy At least 2 years of direct experience in a Principal Warfare Officer (PWO) role with sea-going assignments.
