Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and manage machinery upgrades, modifications, and replacements.
* Oversee projects from start to finish, including cost-benefit analysis, design reviews, risk management, budgeting, and contractor management.
* Ensure equipment and processes meet safety and regulatory standards.
* Help maintenance teams install and troubleshoot machinery to reduce downtime.
* Perform root cause analysis to solve production problems and prevent future issues.
* Support manufacturing teams to boost productivity and product quality.
* Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and regulatory compliance.
* Collaborate with R&D teams to introduce new products into manufacturing.
Qualifications
* Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
* Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and DraftSight.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of process optimization and lean manufacturing.
* Strong commitment to safety standards.
* Proven experience managing projects from concept to completion, including budgeting and risk management.
* Ability to build relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
* Hands-on problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
Desirable Skills
* Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic controls.
* Knowledge of SCADA systems, PLC, and HMI programming.
* Welding technical experience.
* Familiarity with mechatronics systems.
