Permanent opportunity to join Westpac’s GTS Client Services Team!Full-time role, Sydney based and hybrid workingSupport Corporate clients throughout their customer journeyHow will I help?As an Associate within Global Transaction Services (GTS) Client Engagement, you will provide sales and service support to clients across the customer lifecycle. With your hands-on experience supporting dynamic and complex institutional customers, our team will benefit from your strong understanding of core products, procedures, and processes and the quality of service and support provided by you.You will act as the client’s primary point of contact for transactional service (e.g., not resolved by front-line service teams) and support needs in relation to established products, working closely with clients’ dedicated Westpac Client Development Managers who have a strong passion for revenue growth by delivering exceptional service and understanding clients’ business needs. This role will also have internal stakeholder exposure to teams focusing on GTS Product, GTS Risk, Business Development, Business Performance, and Operational Support.In addition, this role is responsible for ensuring compliance with all legislative, regulatory, and corporate policy requirements and standards, including ongoing maintenance of administrative requirements, skills, and knowledge.Reporting to the Team Leader, Client Service, your key responsibilities will include:Service Delivery Oversight: Responsible for overall service delivery and support for assigned client portfolio, establish, amend and cancellation of products or services, oversight of all service items and enquiries to ensure they are being resolved on behalf of clients, by GTS, WIB or various other operational teams.Client Liaison: Act as the client’s primary point of contact for customer concerns or complex matters as well as support in relation to established products.Timely Response Management: Respond to all client enquiries within defined service standards, resolving matters competently, ethically, and commercially to meet client needs.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key internal stakeholders such as Client Development Managers and Relationship Managers to develop a deep understanding of clients and adopt a holistic approach to servicing.Cross-Client Support: Provide support for clients outside your portfolio as needed (e.g., during leave coverage) to ensure all customer needs are met efficiently.Process Improvement: Contribute to the delivery of continuous process improvement by identifying better and simpler ways of working to enhance service delivery.What’s in it for me?As a valued internal colleague, you’ll continue to play a significant part of the future of our business, building upon our strengths for the past 200+ years. As an Associate in GTS Client Service at Westpac, you will act as an advisory partner to clients on their existing products and services. You will engage with Transactional Relationship Managers and Business Development Managers as required to ensure customer needs are met. Additionally, you will develop an understanding of key clients in your portfolio and industry sector to ensure superior service is provided.Further capabilities and experience include:Proactive in anticipating customer needs and issues based on experience and knowledge of clients and their solutions.Confirmed ability handling institutional clients with a sound understanding of their servicing needs in one or more of the following: transactional products, lending or financial markets.Understanding of WIB sales processes, knowledge of institutional customers, knowledge of industry segments, product needs and core solutions as well as the associated systems, procedures, and processes to support them.Strong business and commercial foresight.What’s it like to work there?We are a collaborative team of passionate people with a shared ambition to make a difference for our customers, our communities and each other.
