We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Service Employees to join our team. As a Care Service Employee, you will be responsible for providing essential care and support to elderly residents in our facility. Your primary role will be to assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and to help residents maintain their independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting residents with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, toileting, and dressing
* Serving meals and helping residents with eating
* Monitoring residents for any changes in their health or behaviour and reporting to the nursing staff
* Assisting residents with mobility and transferring
* Ensuring resident safety and following all health and safety protocols
About You:
McLean Care are looking for Certified individuals that are caring and empathetic & looking to contribute to their communities. You will have current Certificate III in Individual Support & while previous experience working in an Aged Care setting is desirable, it is not a strict requirement for this role.
Essential:
* Cert III in Individual Support (Aged)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Physically fit and able to apply safe manual handling practices
* Able to use smartphone / tablet & learn new systems for work purposes
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* 2 Recent Managerial Referees
* Police Clearance – we run one for you for free!
* Compassionate and patient with a positive attitude
Advantage:
* Previous experience in a Residential setting
* Medication Administration Certified
* Current First Aid/ CPR certification or in process of obtaining
