* Rotating roster which will include weekend work and starts from 5am or finishing as late as 11pm.
Key Criteria:
o Checks cake order stand for special orders.
o Pulls stock from freezer or cooler to fill merchandising area.
o De-pans, garnishes and packages baked cheesecakes, seasonal pies and fruit tarts. Places finished product on racks and transfers racks to cooler, freezer or wrapping area.
o Checks production schedule for daily needs. Processes all cakes following assembly instructions in Cake Decorating Manual.
o Assists with other bakery duties as needed.
o Provides prompt and courteous member service.
o Keeps decorating area clean and clear of debris. Follows safety and security procedures.
o Follows SSOP guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required by this position.
o Completes and complies with 11 Commandments of Quality Assurance, Food Safety certification and all safety training required by warehouse and department.
Non-Essential Functions and Task:
o Assists with front end duties as necessary.
o Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
Qualifications (industry-specific skills that candidates should possess):
o Education/Training: High School Certificate or Higher
o Licenses/Certifications: Food safety preferred.
o Experience: Cake decorating or comparable experience.
