Job Description Supervise, organize and plan activities to ensure smooth fabrication and construction of structures within the stipulated schedulePrepare project progress reports and plan for one week look ahead of activities to be completedRedline markup drawings to be done progressively and update engineeringReview technical drawings and advise engineering of any discrepancies before commencing any fabrication worksPerform MTO and update progressively to ensure proper control of material procurement and usageEnsure that manpower is effectively deployed to deliver the products timelyFollow up on all fabrication and installation job fit up, welding and inspectionUnderstand and ensure compliance in project requirement and scope of workManage and ensure subcontractor performance in line with provided scheduleResolve any technical problems or issues faced at the work siteAttend the daily tool box meeting and convey instructions clearlyJob Requirements Diploma in Engineering/Marine Offshore or equivalentMinimum 5 years of experience in Marine Shipyard operations involving structure fabrication supervision worksExperience in managing a workforce of sub-contractors/workers and directing them in Structure fabrication and installationAble to lead/chair daily discussions with sub-contractor supervisors for daily progress updatesAbility to communicate effectively, coordinate site activities between different trades to achieve structural completion as per planned construction sequenceGood inter-personal skills and able to interact and resolve issues with client's site supervision dailyComputer literacy – MS Excel for reporting #J-18808-Ljbffr
