CFMHS is a specialist state-wide agency that works with individuals who have a serious mental health illness and have offended or are at risk of offending. Our CFMHS Service is expanding our services to Regional Victoria with Barwon and Hume services already established.About the Role:The Principal Psychologist, Court Reports provides a high level of clinical psychological expertise to Forensicare regarding psychological court assessments and is responsible for completing in-custody court reports for the Magistrates, County and Supreme courts of Victoria. The role will also be involved in preparing assessments of ‘fitness to stand trial’ and ‘mental impairment (CMIA Act, 1997) as referred by the Office of Public Prosecutions Victoria (OPP). The Principal Psychologist will be required to conduct court assessments at various sites across the Victorian prison system. In addition, the Principal Psychologist will provide supervision and training on conducting court assessments and reports for postgraduate students and/or Forensicare psychologists.
