Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As a numbers whiz with a passion for accuracy and efficiency, you will play a key role in keeping our financials in check and ensuring accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage invoice and payment processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness
* Reconcile financial data, including General Ledger balances and bank transactions
* Prepare and analyse reports such as profit and loss statements, sales trends, and cash flow models
* Budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure tracking
* Manage month-end accounting processes and compliance reporting
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and purchase order queries
* Lead finance projects and support audits to drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting, ideally within a retail environment
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CPA/CA qualified or working towards)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Proficiency in accounting software (MYOB Exo and RMS preferred) and advanced Excel skills
* Excellent communication and organisation skills
* Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a can-do attitude
