Located in Earlwood’s town center, Earlwood Hotel, built in 1931 retains all the warmth and charm of an older Hotel even though it has been recently refurbished throughout rooms offer comfortable and spacious accommodation for all travelers. Applicants must have strong experience in busy hotel, be capable with fast paced, high volume duty operation, take pride in managing the entire operation in a shift and be effective in a busy team environment. Key Requirements are: accountable for the management of the venue on a day to day basis, both front and back of house, ensuring that the correct standards and results are in place if not; to take corrective action to achieve Hotel's budgeted sales and costs targets to maintain staff discipline and take necessary action where appropriate, follow company procedures. to ensure staff and management appraisals and ongoing training are completed to time and in compliance both with relevant legislation and company procedures. to also ensure that development solutions are in place as appropriate to ensure all company policies, procedures and standards are adhered to and that the restaurant operates within all relevant employment legislation and to implement and communicate any changes in the law as they occur to take full accountability for coaching and developing junior managers, seek into a constantly improve their knowledge and abilities. also to take a role in communicating with the team through staff briefings to actively manage throughout the hotel with company standards of food quality, hygiene, health and safety and customer service ensuring that customers have a consistent and enjoyable experience to actively promote the restaurant in the local area through marketing superior leadership and customer service skills enthusiasm and commitment towards the business and the service industry previous experience at a supervisory level previous experience within a catering environment an understanding of trial balances and profit and loss accounts and how to increase profitability through budgeting an thorough understanding of health and safety, food hygiene, licensing and employment law effective planning and organisational skills Permanent Full Time role with $73K - $80K (plus super) If you believe you would be a good fit for our team, please send your resume and contact details to the details attached.
