The Opportunity
At Infinite Aged Care, our Hospitality Assistants play a key role in meeting the daily needs of our residents. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will work as part of the Hotel Services team, where you will be responsible for various activities including food preparation and service, in-room service, and ensuring that the dining areas remain clean and ready for service.
The Role
* Prepare, plate, and serve amazing food to our residents.
* Clean kitchen and dining room areas, including all related equipment.
* Wash dishes, load, and unload the dishwasher.
* Maintain excellent safety awareness – adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards.
* Make each dining experience unforgettable and enjoyable for our elderly residents.
This role is physically demanding and requires bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing items to carry out daily tasks safely. It is essential that you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues, or our residents.
About You
* 6 months' experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in aged care.
* A strong passion for food and providing exceptional dining experiences.
* Ability to problem-solve, work with minimal supervision, and think critically on the job.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Hardworking, flexible, and willing to cover shifts as needed.
* Bring genuine care and compassion to mealtimes, creating a welcoming atmosphere for our residents.
