Offer Description Level B ($111,031 - $131,335) per annum or Level C ($135,388 - $155,696) plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation. Continuing, full-time, balanced opportunities available. We are seeking to fill multiple Lecturer/Senior Lecturer Business Analytics positions in balanced (teaching and research) roles. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who demonstrate a willingness to work with colleagues on initiatives and contribute to the administration of the School, Faculty, and University. The Adelaide Business School is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and provides a diverse array of academic programs. These encompass undergraduate and postgraduate offerings in disciplines such as accounting, business analytics, finance, international business, management, and marketing, including a comprehensive selection of MBA programs. Additionally, the School is committed to excellence in research and offers rigorous programs at the honors, master's, and doctoral levels.
You will be able to demonstrate your ability to teach into both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the areas of business analytics and publish in reputable academic analytics-related journals (FT-50/ A* ABDC journals).
To be successful you will need: Level B – Lecturer - Teaching and Research Possess a PhD in Business Analytics or related area (including Accounting Analytics, Finance, Management, and Marketing Analytics). High level coding skills (preferably in Python) and working with large datasets. An ability to teach in undergraduate and postgraduate business analytics or domain-specific analytics courses. Ability to develop new courses in the area of business analytics. Ability to publish in reputable academic journals, including in leading business journals (FT-50/ A* ABDC journals). Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability and willingness to undertake academic administrative functions. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a professional and collegial manner, and to build rapport with all levels of academic and professional staff within a diverse and inclusive work environment.
