MECHANICAL QA-QC ENGINEERWe are looking for an experienced Mechanical QA-QC Engineer to join our team in the Shotton Paper Mill Project.Location: DeesideJob Type: Full-timeWorking hours: From 7am to 5:30pm - 9.5 hours paid, break unpaid.Saturday rate: 1.5xSunday and bank holidays rate: Double Rate - NegotiablePosition: Mechanical QA-QC EngineerResponsibilities:Develop and implement QA/QC plans specific to mechanical installation projects.Ensure all procedures comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.Conduct regular inspections of mechanical installations, including HVAC, piping, and other systems, to ensure compliance with specifications.Monitor installation processes and methodologies to identify potential quality issues.Oversee and perform functional testing of mechanical systems, ensuring they operate according to design specifications.Document test results and verify compliance with performance standards.Work closely with construction managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality-related issues and ensure effective communication.Qualifications:A relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.Alternatively, a vocational qualification such as an NVQ/SVQ in Mechanical Engineering or Installation.Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001).Relevant qualifications in mechanical installation or engineering, such as City & Guilds or equivalent.Proven experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry, specifically in mechanical installations.Familiarity with UK mechanical standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., BS EN standards).Certification in QA/QC or related fields is a plus.Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.Valid equivalent CSCS Card.Please send your CV to barbara.peruchiproman-uk or text 07775851326, your name and job ref: Mechanical QS - Deeside.#J-18808-Ljbffr
