Leading Direct to Consumer Apparel brand Sydney onsite work model Huge Growth Potential Our client, a leading D2C business, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior E-Commerce Manager to lead and optimise their online retail strategy.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end e-commerce operations, driving sales, and ensuring a seamless customer experience across all digital touchpoints.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and IT, to optimise online sales channels and lead initiatives that enhance user experience, increase conversions, and maximise revenue.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the e-commerce strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth targets.
Manage and optimise the online store, ensuring product listings, promotions, and content are up-to-date, accurate, and engaging.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic, customer acquisition, and retention.
Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, etc.)
to track performance, measure ROI, and drive improvements in the user journey, conversion rates, and overall site performance.
Lead the optimisation of product pages, website design, UX/UI, and the overall customer experience.
Drive initiatives to enhance customer engagement and increase repeat purchase rates through loyalty programs, email marketing, and personalisation strategies.
Oversee product inventory, pricing, and promotions across the online store, ensuring a streamlined process and alignment with the brand's goals.
Analyse customer feedback, competitor performance, and market trends to identify opportunities and optimise the e-commerce strategy.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in e-commerce and digital marketing to maintain a competitive edge.
Mentor and manage junior team members, providing guidance and fostering their professional development.
Key Skills and Requirements Proven experience (5+ years) in e-commerce management, digital marketing, or related fields.
Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, including Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, or similar.
Experience with digital marketing channels such as paid search, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
Proficient in web analytics and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) strategies.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Ability to analyse and interpret data to make informed, data-driven decisions.
Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and customer experience best practices.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
This role is based in Sydney and is an onsite 5 days per week work model.
