We are seeking Full-time and Part-time Registered Midwives to join our team at Prince of Wales Private Hospital.
If your passion is working in the birth suite, we have roles that can support your passion, development, and work-life balance. You will also work across the Birth Unit and Special Care Nursery on a rotational basis as required.

Your Responsibilities
* Delivering evidence-based midwifery care and providing exceptional patient experience to women and their families.
* Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team.
* Ensuring patient and staff safety.
* Supervising, directing, and guiding midwifery/nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care.
* Delivering education and support to mothers and their families.
Minimum Requirements
* Current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA.
* Current NSW Working with Children Check.
* Proven experience in a similar role.
* Special Care Nursery experience advantageous.
* Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
* SOUND clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
* EXCELLENT communication and customer service skills.
* ABILITY to work well independently and within a team.
* Compliance with NSW Health Policy PD2020_017 Occupational Screening, Assessment & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
* BASIC computer skills.
