The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Senior Risk and Internal AuditConsultant to be part of our Corporate Services Division (Risk andAssurance Team) within the Department of Primary Industries andRegions.
The primary purpose of the role is to provide strategic andenterprise risk management, operational risk oversight andexception reporting and internal audit services across PIRSA toensure we are implementing and properly administering all relevantlegislative requirements. The Risk and Internal AuditConsultant will support the Manager, Risk and Assurance toidentify, assess and monitor the management of PIRSA’sstrategic risks, operational risk oversight and exceptionreporting, develop and deliver PIRSA’s annual internal auditplan, and provide reporting and assurance on the PIRSA GovernanceFramework.
The role contributes delivering the agency’s prioritiesincluding Priority 6 “Perform Well”, specifically“ensuring good governance practices are in place”(6.4).

6. Desirable: Relevant tertiary qualifications in public administration, auditing, business management or similar.

$95,588 - $101,109 per annum
