The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals New South Wales (RSPCA NSW) is a not-for-profit animal welfare organisation.

The role has been established to provide administrative support to the Chief Inspector, Deputy Chief Inspector, and the Inspectorate department as required.
* This role is a Fixed Term position, ending 29th August 2025.
Position Responsibilities include:
* Assist in facilitating the effective office management aspects of the Inspectorate.
* Assist in maintaining accurate records to enable requests from internal and external stakeholders to be fulfilled in a timely manner.
* Manage the allocation and recording of Inspectors controlled items (e.g., Notebooks, Seizure Books, 24N, etc.).
* Manage the allocation of Inspector body-worn cameras and personal locator devices.
* Attend Inspectors team meetings and prepare minutes.
* Process Inspectorate accounts payable invoices through SAP Concur.
* Liaise with NSW Goals regarding animals in custody on behalf of Inspectors.
* Prepare and distribute monthly animals in custody list.
* Prepare and send section 31A letters on behalf of Inspectors.
* Prepare and send approval letters for the Auxiliary Desexing Program.
* Prepare and send internal memos requesting subpoena payments.
* Manage and order Inspector stationery, custom printed items (e.g., USBs & name badges), and business cards.
* Assist in maintaining prosecution registers where required.
* Assist in the onboarding process of new inspectors where required.
* Respond to general Inspector enquiries.
* Upload BWC footage for transcription.
* Distribute weekly roster.
* Distribute mail to Inspectors, post mail to Regional Inspectors fortnightly, frank, and post external mail.
* Cover tasks for the Personal Assistant where applicable.
* Effectively communicate with members of the public, external agencies, and all stakeholders where required.
* Comply with all RSPCA NSW policies and procedures, as implemented, varied, or replaced from time to time.
Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in Administration (desirable).
Experience:
* 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
* Experience in supporting a diverse team is highly regarded.
Skills:
* High levels of computer literacy across Microsoft suite.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to prioritise workloads and work with stakeholders to support the department.
* Excellent telephone manner and thoroughly professional.
