Rackley Swimming, part of City Venue Management, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Swim School Manager to lead and grow our thriving program at Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie) in East Brisbane. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to manage a vibrant program and world-class facility, working within a supportive and industry leading organisation.
About Rackley Swimming & City Venue Management:
City Venue Management (CVM) is a facility management company that operates aquatic centres, swim schools, coaching programs, and health clubs from the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast and in Toowoomba and New South Wales. Rackley Swimming currently operates 37 swim schools across Queensland and New South Wales.
About the Role:
The Swim School Manager will oversee the daily operations of the swim school and facility, which also offers a coaching program for Squad swimmers. This role involves managing program delivery, supervising the team, providing excellent customer service, and overseeing financial matters. Key responsibilities include:
Program Management: Oversee the delivery of high-quality swim lessons for all age groups and skill levels, from babies to squad-ready swimmers.
Team Leadership & Management: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of swim instructors to ensure consistency in teaching quality and a positive learning environment.
Community Focus: Build and maintain strong relationships with the school, community, parents, and children, serving as a vital link between the school and aquatic programs.
Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and the school community; provide exceptional customer service.
Business Development: Actively seek opportunities to expand swim school offerings, promote swim teaching services, and secure facility rentals from schools in the local area.
Financial Management: Manage the swim school's budget, track key performance indicators, and report financial results to management.
Facility Management: Ensure the facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency. This includes overseeing maintenance and scheduling.
Compliance: Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, including child safety regulations.
About You:

Passion for working with children in a fun and engaging environment.
Proven experience in swim school management (ideally with experience working with diverse age groups).
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong team leadership, management and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Essential Qualifications:
Swim Teaching Qualification (essential)
Current First Aid, CPR, and Pool Lifeguard certifications (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe)
Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or ability to obtain one prior to commencing employment.
