will be responsible for working as part of our new Resources Hub team to provide and lead design services, technical input and direction in design to assist with the development and execution of growth strategies that will lead to the growth of new energy and resources business within ANZ and globally.This role will focus on leading the design aspects in support of the pursuit and delivery of key opportunities within the new energy and resources sector.The primary focus of the role will be (but not limited to): Mechanical and Piping Design and Analysis: Collaborate with project teams to design SMP systems and equipment for civil construction and mining projects as well as conducting feasibility studies, perform calculations, and create detailed engineering designs predominantly that of greenfield and brownfield projects across Mining industry (specifically Materials Handling and Process Plant).Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, engineers, technicians, and contractors, to coordinate Mechanical and Piping Design activities whilst communicating effectively to convey technical information, provide guidance, and address project requirements and liaising with project team personnel where required, to produce accurate design documentation.Undertaking modelling and drafting reviews on projects to ensure a consistently high standard of design and drafting is being maintained.Identify and select appropriate civil materials and equipment, components, and systems based on project requirements, industry standards, and client specifications.Overseeing design and checking drawings and deliverables for compliance with client expectations, standards, specifications, and procedures.Checking drawings and deliverables for constructability, and availability of materials and vendor information.Conduct feasibility studies, perform calculations, and create detailed engineering designs.Liaising with relevant disciplines to ensure design coordination of multi-disciplined projects.Here's what you'll need Experience in design experience and checking in Greenfield and Brownfield projects across Heavy Industry, Mining, Materials Handling and Process Plant Design industry.Robust knowledge of international and local 3D CAD design methods, applicable codes and specifications associated with new energy and resources (mining) projects.Competency in design software such as MicroStation CE, AutoCAD, SP3D, E3D and Navisworks Simulator.Multi-skilled in the use of Modelling software and a passion for digital project delivery.Experience in delivering EPC and/or EPCM projects and Plant Layout experience highly regarded.Proven experience in effectively delivering Civil design elements of studies, projects and
