Mid-Year Intake 2025 Graduate Registered Nurse Program - BRHS Why Choose a Graduate Registered Nurse Program at BRHS: We offer a personalised learning program supported by experienced health professionals who are dedicated to seeing you grow and succeed in your Graduate year. Our goal is for you to acquire, experience and build knowledge within a supportive environment, enabling you to become a competent, confident, accountable and professional health care practitioner. We aim to equip our Graduate Registered Nurses with the skills and confidence to successfully initiate known theory with practice within the health care setting. You will be encouraged to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills throughout the Program and into your career. You will receive regular study days, education sessions, debrief sessions and be assigned a mentor to support your induction and development At the completion of the Graduate Program you will have the option of choosing either to participate in our Transition Program or apply for ongoing employment in an area of your choice according to available EFT. Our Program: BRHS offers a single program providing the opportunity to consolidate practice in various areas in the clinical settings, including a potential primary health care rotation to our East Gippsland partner Gippsland Lakes Complete Health (GLCH) in Lakes Entrance. 12 month program commencing Mid-Year 2025 TBA Permanent appointment (subject to performance) Ongoing, 0.6 - 1.0 EFT by negotiation 2 x 6 month rotational positions throughout the hospital Rotations are available in; Medical/Surgical TAMBO ward, Medical/Palliative/Paediatrics Rotamah ward, Rehabilitation/ AOD Flanagan ward and Aged Care. Specialty rotations are available in; Emergency, Medical Imaging, Perioperative areas and Midwifery (dual degree graduates only), with the opportunity to indicate your preference.
