HIA Insurance Services (HIAIS) is a specialist insurance broker, providing insurance products and risk advice to the residential building industry. Formed in 1984, HIAIS is as a joint venture between two leaders in their respective industries, Aon and the Housing Industry Association (HIA).
The Opportunity
We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Insurance professional to join our HIA Insurance Services team in Melbourne as a Client Manager servicing medium to large residential bui;ders with more complex needs.
You will be responsible for the servicing and retention of a portfolio consisting of clients in the building and construction sector, including General Insurance and Home Warranty Insurance Eligibility.
You will also be responsible for maximising cross sell opportunities with existing clients through exceptional client service.

What The Day Will Look Like
4. Provide a high level of client service to enable effective client relationship management
5. Day to day management of client insurance policy renewals, new business, home warranty insurance and endorsements
6. Upsell and cross sell of relevant insurance products
7. Liaise with clients via phone and face to face meetings
8. Negotiate with insurers and clients on risks outside of Underwriting guidelines
9. Achieving budgeted revenue for retention, and growth on existing and new business
10. Mentoring, training and leading team members
11. Stakeholder management of both industry contacts and internal colleagues

15. Knowledge of both NSW and VIC Home Warranty would be an advantage.
16. You are highly motivated and take a proactive approach to your work and portfolio
17. Demonstrated experience managing teams and/or mentoring, training and leading team members in a fast paced environment
18. Strong negotiation and influencing skills
19. Tier 1 Qualifications in Insurance Broking
