For further information on Mater Dei and our range of Programs please visit. About the Role Due to a recent restructure, Mater Dei is seeking an experienced and passionate Finance Manager. You will lead a small team covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and other financial information. Monthly financial reporting including P&L and balance sheet. Assist in the annual budgeting process. Manage taxation compliance obligations including GST and FBT. Co-ordinating the annual external audit and preparing the annual statutory financial statements. Working with our Program Managers to ensure that the appropriate financial controls are in place and being adhered to. Identifying areas for continued improvement and efficiency. Supervising the part-time Accounts Assistant and Payroll staff. Experience in managing a small team. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail. An enquiring and analytical mind. Ability to be "hands on" as required and to partner with the "non-accountants" in the organisation.
