Jira Support Engineer
One of our leading financial organisations is looking for a Jira support engineer for the next 12 months to help on a transformation project of their Atlassian tools. This project will including maintaining and admiration responsibilities as well as migrating technologies to the cloud.
About the Role
* Expert Skills in all Atlassian Products: JIRA, Confluence, Tempo, various other applications, with ability to troubleshoot, support, code, and rollout change.
* Proficient in Lean and Process Improvement Methodologies: including waste identification, simplification.
* Experience with Delivery metrics, insights, and reporting: including coaching, training and utilising Lead/Cycle Time, Velocity Measures, and various other Metrics.
* Experience in Agile Practices: Applying those Delivery/Project Management practices in an Agile Environment.
Responsibilities
* Collect and document project requirements (both technical and functional).
* Analyse, facilitate, model, and organize information to reconcile conflicts, elicit requirements and distinguish solution ideas from end user needs.
* Configure and develop on tools as per agreed requirements, e.g., adjusting field layouts, customs fields and values, field configurations, etc.
* Develop, test and deploys clearly documented code to a high standard.
* ScriptRunner – development of scripts to enhance the experience and useability of JIRA and confluence (will involve code).
