Role Overview The DevOps team plays a key role in building and maintaining the ecosystem that powers services for our internal and external customers. Embedded within project tribes, the team works collaboratively to ensure that objectives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. In line with the true spirit of DevOps, the team focuses on improving processes, maintaining architectural integrity, automating workflows, and ensuring the stability, performance, and supportability of our production systems. What You'll Do Manage and resolve tickets while meeting SLAs and keeping stakeholders informed. Collaborate with project tribes to ensure seamless delivery of objectives. Contribute to system design, capacity planning, and launch reviews for new services. Develop software platforms and frameworks to manage infrastructure and applications. Build scalable systems through automation and ensure reliability, security, and velocity. Monitor and maintain live services, addressing issues with system health, availability, and latency. Act on alerts and incidents affecting cloud infrastructure and corporate systems as needed. Lead incident response, ensuring clear communication and conducting blameless post-mortems. Enhance the service lifecycle from inception to refinement, focusing on performance and scalability. Identify and implement process and infrastructure improvements as part of the service roadmap. Explore and assess new technologies to advance capabilities. Document procedures, configurations, and guidelines to standardize practices. Share knowledge with the Tech team to support learning and development. Take ownership of your professional growth and stay updated on industry trends. Provide solutions to risks and issues, escalating appropriately when needed. Maintain cloud infrastructure and networking in compliance with established policies and standards. Provide after-hours support as required, including on-call support, high-priority incidents, and release management to minimize business disruption. Be prepared for evolving responsibilities as business needs change. Must-Haves: A degree in IT/Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience. 1 years in DevOps supporting cloud environments, particularly AWS or GCP. 1 years with automation tools and performing refactoring. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate unfamiliar challenges. Self-motivation and a hands-on approach in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with Agile/DevOps principles and CI/CD tools. Proficiency with source control (e.g.Git) and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience working with multiple operating systems, especially Linux. Nice-to-Haves: AWS or other Cloud certifications with working cloud support experience. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform. Experience with CDN tools and cloud security solutions. Proficiency with multiple public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure). Database experience (SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, GraphQL). Background in content management tools and front-end applications.
