Due to growth, we’re seeking a qualified Fitter to join their team. Within this role you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and assembling pneumatic tools and components to ensure their safe, efficient, and reliable operation. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork and good housekeeping. The role is integral to supporting operational goals and aligns with the organisation’s vision, mission, and values by prioritising safety, quality, and operational excellence. The role: Perform precise maintenance, repair, and assembly of pneumatic tools and equipment following specifications and guidelines. Ensure all repairs and assemblies meet or exceed quality standards. Conduct thorough inspections of tools and equipment before and after repairs to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Operate and maintain workshop tools, machinery, and equipment efficiently and safely. Follow established procedures to ensure traceability and compliance with WHSEQ standards. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment through consistent housekeeping practices. Assist in training and mentoring apprentices and less experienced team members. What we're looking for: Trade Certificate in Pneumatic Tool Maintenance, Fitting, or equivalent Proven skills in the maintenance and repair of pneumatic tools and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong understanding of WHSEQ standards and safe work practices. Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
