About the Opportunity:

Our client, the world's largest publicly traded international oil and gas company, is looking for an experienced Network and Infrastructure Support Officer with knowledge and proven experience in Servers, Network support, and Motorola radio systems. The Position:
This role calls for someone who has exceptional communication skills and has experience working in Information Technology with competency in hardware and networks. The position is Monday to Friday 8.am to 5.pm with some weekend work when required working on site in Longford, Victoria. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the development of Business Solutions, covering infrastructure and end-user computing.
- Supporting users with equipment requirements
- Providing feedback for continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
- Ensuring functionality of the server room
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues as part of the IT team.
- Supporting collaboration technologies like Skype and Zoom.
- Staying updated on new technologies and maintaining system protocols.
About You:
If you're an experienced IT guru with a passion for the industry and ensuring users have what they need for a smooth run, this role might be for you. We're looking for someone with:
- Experience with servers and monitoring and maintaining efficiency
- Knowledge of Motorola radio (or similar) and can effectively trouble shoot
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated experience in IT-related positions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to gather, evaluate, and process information effectively.
- Experience liaising with stakeholders and setting priorities independently.
