The Opportunity
This role is open to suitably qualified people with experience in a CSSD Team Leader position as well as proven skills in the day-to-day functions and compliance monitoring required in a busy Sterilising Department.
The CSSD Team leader will report to the Theatre Manager and will be responsible for oversight of the day-to-day requirements and ensuring compliance with relevant standards in the department. Knowledge of relevant standards and accreditation requirements will be vital to success in this role.
Skills and Experience
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire, motivate and mentor your team as well as a passion for seeing your team members succeed and grow in their roles.
Your attention to detail and skills in providing excellent clinical services will be highly regarded.
* Experienced Sterilising Technician with Certificate III in Sterilising Services
* Current knowledge of all aspects of Sterilising Services including relevant standards
* 3 years minimum experience within the CSSD environment
* Previous experience within a team leader / senior staff role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to act as a positive role model and inspire your team
* Demonstrated ability to nurture and develop team members with potential to advance their career
* Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills
* Certificate IV in Sterilising Services
The salary for this role will be negotiable for the successful candidate, dependant on qualifications & experience.
