We are looking for a Microsoft Desktop & Server Standard Operation Environment expert that will be focused on managing and maintaining Microsoft infrastructure including the configuration, deployment, technical security and operations.
In this role you will provide technical support for project build, test and solution deployment activities for a wide range of Microsoft technologies.
Your expertise will enable you to provide high-quality support to maintain efficient and effective operations.
About You:Microsoft Windows Desktop & Server Engineering Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Microsoft Windows Desktop & Server Engineering Expert, with strong technical skills and experience including but not limited to the following:
Windows Server and Desktop Standard Operating EnvironmentM365Active DirectoryAppLockerConfiguration ManagementSCCM / MECM and Group PolicyAzure and Azure Active DirectoryIntune technologiesConfiguring and Maintaining Infrastructure:Experience in provisions/installs, configuring and maintaining infrastructure services and components.
Monitoring and Reporting:Experience monitoring, measuring and reporting on infrastructure load, performance and security events and identifying operational issues and contributing to their resolution.
Infrastructure Experience:Experience carrying out agreed operational procedures, including backup/restore, using supplied infrastructure tools and scripts and carrying out agreed system software maintenance tasks, automating routine system administration tasks to specifications using standard tools and basic scripting.
Technical Expertise:Experience designing, coding, verifying, testing documents, amending and refactoring simple programs/scripts and applying agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result and reviewing own work.
Installing/Removing Hardware:Experience installing or removing hardware and/or software, using supplied installation instructions and tools, including handover to the client.
Using standard procedures and diagnostic tools to test installations, correct problems, and document results.
Recording details of all components that have been installed and removed.
Assisting Users:Experience assisting users and following agreed procedures for further help or escalation and contributing to the development of installation procedures and standards.
