About the Role
This position is a full-time role in the Batemans Bay Maintenance team.
Your main duties will include:
* Operating and maintaining plant items and machinery.
* Physical laboring and other construction/maintenance manual activities.
* Completing construction/maintenance projects alongside contractors and sub-contractors.
* Contributing to the ongoing improvement and quality of Council's construction and maintenance services.
About You
We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors and has experience with safe and proper use of plant items and machinery.
You should possess common sense, a good attitude, and clear communication skills to make you a strong applicant for this role.
Please ensure your application includes clear examples of:

* Effective communication with contractors and the public.
Experience in a construction/maintenance environment and familiarity with machinery limits and outputs are also essential.
In addition, good literacy/numeracy skills and a willingness to participate in further training offered by Council are highly valued.
