The Job:
As the General Manager, you will oversee and direct the company’s daily operations, ensuring alignment with the company mission. Your responsibilities will include formulating and executing strategies to achieve business objectives, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will lead and develop a high-performing team, foster a positive and collaborative work culture, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. The role demands exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills, with the flexibility to travel locally and internationally as required. You’ll oversee all operational aspects to ensure profitability, including effectively monitoring and managing operational costs to achieve revenue and profit targets and provide strategic leadership and direction across all departments, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence. Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to identify risks and opportunities, and develop strategies, including economic planning and forecasting, to drive growth and success, you’ll also ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Skills Required:
With demonstrated operational and people leadership experience, you’ll have experience in developing and building strategic relationships, financial capabilities, with sound literacy in spreadsheets and financial management and an ability to work effectively in a busy and high-pressure team environment. With excellent collaboration and communication skills, you’ll have a proven track record in managing large companies, be a strong team player with the ability to work effectively with all stakeholders and have a deep understanding of company finances with a capability to make informed decisions. Complemented by a strong business acumen and strategic planning skills, you’ll have acute business development and market insight, excellent written and verbal communications skills and a commitment to environmental and sustainability goals aligning with company objectives.
