When the ocean is your office, every day is a good one. About the Role We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Reservations team as a Reservations Consultant. This is a permanent full-time position based on Hamilton Island. Reporting to the Customer Service & Sales Manager, the Reservations Consultant will be the first point of contact for our customers, assisting them with enquiries and booking their ideal experiences. This role is based at Hamilton Island Marina and will require you to live on Hamilton Island. Accommodation on Hamilton Island can be arranged through Cruise Whitsundays. Rent will be processed through payroll deductions fortnightly. You will also be responsible for paying for your own utilities. Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: Keep up to date with all Cruise Whitsundays products, timetables, promotions The accurate input/management of email, phone, web chat and direct bookings into Custom Linc Correctly processing booking payments and correctly finalising EOD cash ups Checking and finalising QA bookings including applying promotions Accurately booking third party providers Stay up to date with Reservations Policies and Procedures Collect and provide catering information Service the Retail Store and upsell merchandise Prepare necessary paperwork/manifests for the following day's operation Respond to customer feedback in accordance with Policies & Procedures Regularly review Navigator About You You have a passion for the Tourism Industry with a real commitment to delivering the best standards of customer service. You are self-motivated, competent, adaptable with an eye for detail and demonstrate exceptional administration and sales skills.
