Our Tech team is dedicated to transforming legacy success into an extraordinary Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that supports SME and Enterprise businesses. By joining the Tech team, you will be an integral part of building our all-in-one business management platform.
About the Role
You will join the Pathway Engineering team, responsible for developing and maintaining MYOB's default platforms for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Secure Code management, and Secure artifact management.
Our customers are the technology teams in MYOB, and our platform enables them to deploy code to production quickly, securely, and reliably. We work closely with them, adding features as their needs evolve, debugging their problems, and supporting them through training and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Proficient in one of the key public clouds, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Infrastructure as Code technologies and processes.
* Confident in software development using Go, Python, and Bash.
* Experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning tools, such as AWS CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
* Knowledge of Linux environments and experience running robust production platforms using operational constructs like Serverless and containerization (Docker).
* Experience with modern CI/CD tooling suites and continuous integration/continuous deployment best practices.
* Proven experience mentoring other engineers and supporting their growth in their role.
Preferred Skills
* Knowledge of common tools used by MYOB, such as Buildkite, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
* Operating a monitoring stack and experience in diagnosing problems during incidents.
* Relationship building with vendors to understand how to leverage their tooling effectively.
