We are looking for dedicated Security/Orderly Officers to join our team in Murray Bridge. This rewarding role combines security duties with patient care, where your actions directly contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our Health Unit. You'll be integral in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for both staff and patients, applying your skills in de-escalation and emergency response.
As part of a collaborative team, you'll help manage clients who may be agitated or aggressive, ensuring their safety and comfort while adhering to hospital policies and procedures. Your role is vital in delivering a secure and caring environment for all, providing the support necessary to maintain order and assist where needed. Key responsibilities:
- Assist in patient care while maintaining a secure environment.
- Support with de-escalation techniques when interacting with challenging clients.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and safety standards.
- Use relevant equipment and systems, including Microsoft 365, to support daily operations.
Essential Criteria
- Current South Australian Security Agent Licence.
- Previous experience in security, especially in high-pressure environments.
- Proven ability to de-escalate conflict and manage aggressive behaviours.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365.
- Sound judgment and initiative in decision-making.

- DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
- National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
