We accept part-time faculty applications all year long; when a department or division has a need to fill, they refer to the "pool" of part-time faculty applications on file.
Although we may not have an immediate opening, we practice ongoing recruitment to attract exceptional faculty who have experience successfully teaching both in the classroom and online.
We also plan to expand our course offerings at a growing number of partner campuses.

Part-time faculty meetings are conducted the week prior to the semester start.
Course outlines of record, student learning outcomes to be assessed, and department policies will be provided or reviewed.The Engineering Instructor will teach engineering sciences and technology and other related courses.
Duties include curriculum development, use of innovative methodologies and willingness to integrate technology into classroom and online lessons.In addition, the faculty member will provide academic counseling and guidance to students and actively recruiting students into engineering programs.Supervisory and Management Responsibility: StudentsQualificationsReports To: Dean of Career & Technical EducationEducation/QualificationsThe successful candidate must meet one of the following criteria:Master's degree or higher in content area from an accredited college or university; ORBachelor's degree in content area from an accredited college or university AND a Master's degree in a related field; ORA combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent of items 1 or 2 above.
