About the role The Administration Officer is responsible for delivering high quality administrative functions and services that support the Business Services Team, regional staff and the SAAL Landscape Board to achieve the regions landscape priorities.
The role delivers customer centric services, and a responsive point of contact service, to internal and external stakeholders, and delivers a range of finance, records management, and administrative functions in compliance with relevant policies, procedures and guidelines.
Key Selection Criteria Knowledge, skills, abilities and experience Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to foster collaborative working relationships with people at all levels, deliver high quality customer service and provide clear and concise information to customers and stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to work effectively under general direction, either independently or within a team, to plan and organise work, investigate and remedy data anomalies and exercise initiative within the boundaries of established practices and procedures to meet deadlines.Experience coordinating and undertaking responsive, client-centric administration, finance, records management and administrative functions and services and using the Microsoft suite of applications.Experience maintaining financial systems and generating a range of timely documents and reporting for customer and business purposes.Knowledge of administration, finance and records management processes and systems and sound knowledge of Landscape Board activities.Other requirements Current class "C" drivers' licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4wd is essential.Intrastate and remote area travel may be required, including travel in light aircraft.Some out of hours work is required, necessitating occasional overnight stays.Position based in Port Augusta.This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework.
