Are you an experienced workforce coordinator with a passion for recruitment and a strong background in agency workforce management? Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) is seeking a proactive, highly skilled Agency Workforce Coordinator to play a pivotal role in managing our temporary agency workforce across both clinical and non-clinical areas. This is your chance to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team in a leading healthcare organisation.
As the Agency Workforce Coordinator, you'll be the expert in sourcing, managing, and engaging temporary agency workers to meet the fluctuating demands of our organisation. Reporting to the Director - Central Agency Hub, you'll work closely with internal managers, external agencies, and our People Operations team to ensure the efficient delivery of staffing solutions that support high-quality patient care and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Source and book agency workers, ensuring efficient use of staffing systems (Optima).
* Act as the main contact for managers, agency workers, and recruitment agencies.
* Manage governance processes, approvals, and payment authorisations for agency staffing.
* Advise on staffing strategies to reduce reliance on agency workers and promote permanent hires.
* Oversee onboarding of new workers and support recruitment campaigns.
What We’re Looking For:
* 2-5 years of experience in agency workforce management or labour hire, ideally in healthcare.
* Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship-building skills.
* Knowledge of workforce management systems (Optima preferred) and cost control.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant qualifications in HR, Business, or similar fields.
