Your New Role
As the Residential Services Manager, you will report to the Executive and lead state-wide residential services teams. Your goal will be to deliver sustainable, high-quality services and leadership across multiple sites, with a focus on expanding residential programs in response to sector demand.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy:
Lead by example to embed organisational values and culture, while participating in strategic planning and business development. Drive the team to achieve business initiatives, engage in grant writing, and continuously improve organisational efficiencies.
* Service Delivery & Participant Outcomes:
Lead teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred programs and services while ensuring compliance with contractual and service agreement requirements. Oversee clinical governance, maintain quality participant records, and coordinate the entire service delivery process from referral to billing.
* Commercial Sustainability:
Collaborate with the Executive to identify and support growth opportunities, ensuring financially sustainable results across all programs. Set and monitor site operational budgets with the finance team, ensure NDIS participant funding meets their needs, and drive efficient resource use to achieve program outcomes.
* People & Stakeholder Management:
Foster a positive, inclusive working environment by providing direction and support to team members, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. Build rapport with key external stakeholders to enhance the organisation's reputation.
* Quality, WHS, Compliance & Reporting:
Embed a safety culture and ensure a safe work environment by leading quality documentation development and maintaining accreditation standards. Deliver external reporting within contractual requirements and participate in internal audits and continuous improvement activities.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, operations, mental health, allied health, or relevant sector experience.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership position with demonstrated budget, staff, and quality management.
* Experience in healthcare and community sector management.
* Ability to work in a complex environment with competing priorities.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to manage a state-wide team and travel across Tasmania, and knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
Desirable:
* Career experience in Mental Health services and NDIS programs.
* Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
* Clinical Governance experience.
