Amazon Regional ACES Manager, ACES in VIC, AustraliaDescriptionAmazon Australia is seeking a Regional Inbound ACES Manager to drive process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement for the Australian Customer Fulfillment Network.This role is essential to establish best-in-class network performance across all Inbound process paths, accelerate implementation of technological advancements, and strengthen the technical acumen and process knowledge for the operational leaders across the Fulfillment Centre (FC) network.
As AU continues to rapidly grow our FC footprint and infuse the organization with new talent, we need to ensure the operations teams are equipped with the functional expertise to successfully deliver expected gains for technology advances and network-wide process improvements.The role would act as a consolidatory Inbound subject matter expert (SME) for the Australian network.
This knowledge and experience will be leveraged to provide consultation and drive improvement in the Inbound space across all FCs in Australia.
The role will work closely with other departmental Amazon Customer Excellence Systems (ACES) members, launch teams, operations engineering and reliability and maintenance (RME), Vendor, FBA, Safety, and IT teams to improve the input metrics for each of the Inbound process paths by prioritizing and channeling resources to address gaps in existing processes.Key job responsibilities:Execute network-level Inbound improvement initiatives with a cost and sustainability focus, working in close proximity with both ACES and Operational teams.
This will often involve work with global stakeholders and teams and may involve infrequent international travel.Execute targeted standardization initiatives across the Australian network and then monitor and communicate results with senior stakeholders clearly.Support ACES with process improvement projects to deploy across the Australian network.Ability to travel is essential in this role, with 40% travel estimated.Basic Qualifications:Degree from an accredited institutionExperience from Industrial Engineering, Business Process Engineering, Quality, Operations, or LogisticsCost variation/Cost saving experience within a similar industryPreferred Qualifications:Strong professional experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologiesRelevant knowledge of change management and continuous improvement methodologiesStrong ability interpreting & communicating analytics and presenting to senior leadershipExcellent communication skills and detail orientationAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to motivate a teamAmazon offers employees in the operations team a competitive remuneration package, including participation in the company stock plan as applicable.
