In doing so, you will be consolidating your clinical skills towards successfully completing your FRANZCOG training, in particular complex pregnancy care, tertiary birth suite management, ultrasound and general gynaecology. You also have the opportunity to embark on a pre-subspeciality pathway with rotations available in advanced laparoscopic surgery, high risk obstetrics, O&G ultrasound, colposcopy, urogynaecology, gynae-oncology, reproductive endocrinology, general gynaecology and maternal-fetal medicine, or undertake advanced (higher degree) research in partnership with Monash University.
Our Obstetrics & Gynaecology Senior Registrars positions can be tailored to suit the individual needs of each successful appointee, with the added flexibility in the daily roster to meet the clinical requirements and maximise each SRs training goals, as the year progresses. Rotations may involve traveling between Monash Women’s sites or our partnering hospitals in regional and/or private settings. All of our positions are geared to the true generalist Obstetrics and Gynaecology advanced trainee, focusing on becoming independent in complex obstetrics care and general gynaecological procedures.
