We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for full-time permanent Store Person & Delivery Driver to join our Narromine branch to help drive instore sales of our agricultural merchandise products.
About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Branch Manager you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst:
4. Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods
5. Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
6. Processing counter sales
7. Maintaining safety processes
8. Assisting with merchandise campaign material
9. Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
10. Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries
11. This role includes a rotating Saturday roster
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment. You’ll have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. In addition, you will demonstrate:
12. Experience working within a sales environment
13. Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
14. A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
15. Excellent attention to detail
16. Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
17. Ability to identify ways to improve internal sales processes
18. Competent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
19. A current driver’s and a HR license is essential. A Forklift license is advantageous but not required.
