With established partnerships in community, corporate and government levels, we focus on delivering culturally appropriate and impactful programs that address community needs at both local and national levels.Position Overview: As the Community Development Engagement Manager, you will lead the design, coordination, and implementation of community engagement programs. You will work closely with community members, stakeholders, and partners to develop initiatives that foster community empowerment, capacity building, and social inclusion. This role requires someone passionate about driving positive change, skilled in relationship building, and experienced in community development. Key Responsibilities: Develop and lead community engagement strategies and programs that align with our organization's mission. Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, government agencies, and partners. Coordinate and facilitate workshops, events, and training sessions. Lead outreach efforts to engage new communities and expand the organization's reach. Collaborate with other teams to ensure program delivery is culturally appropriate and meets the needs of diverse communities. Prepare reports, grant applications, and evaluations to support ongoing program development and funding efforts. Support the organization in its strategic planning and growth, particularly in fostering partnerships with other NFPs and stakeholders. Key Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in community development, engagement, or a similar role (minimum of 3 years preferred). Strong understanding of issues affecting culturally diverse communities, especially Pasifika communities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience in project management, including planning, executing, and evaluating community programs. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail. Experience in grant writing and reporting is highly desirable. A tertiary qualification in Community Development, Social Work, Public Health, or a related field is an advantage. Why Join Us?
