The Position:
1. Responsible for effectively managing P&L and food costs
2. Responsible for effectively managing kitchen operations/logistics including stock control
3. Understand and manage client expectations
4. Supervision of Chefs in relation to day-to-day operations
5. Ensure compliance with Healthy, Safety and Environment requirements

Minimum Criteria:
12. Australian Trade Certification or Cert III in Commercial Cookery essential
13. Previous leadership experience preferred
14. High volume catering, including bulk catering and function/banquet experience
15. Experience in a mining village operation preferred but all professional kitchen experience considered
16. Willing to obtain or have a Queensland Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Surface Mining Induction
17. Previous experience working in a remote setting desired
18. Strong leadership skills, self-motivated and can demonstrate initiative on the job
19. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and management
