Job Title: Retail Customer Service Officer
About the Opportunity:
We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Retail Customer Service Officer to join our team in Armidale, Australia. As a key member of our retail team, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to Australians, helping them with their business needs and keeping communities connected.
About the Role:
* 12 weeks of paid on-the-job training (Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week)
* Casual on-call shifts as required after training (Monday to Friday, rotating shifts between 8:45am to 5:06pm)
* Competitive adult pay rate: $33.66 (increases to $35.98 after 3 months) + 12% Superannuation
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Perform customer sales and service transactions accurately
* Manage high-value transactions (handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS)
* Conduct identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews
* Promote products and services through up-selling and cross-selling
* Assist customers with mail lodgements and associated costs
* Build rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs
* Support administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance
